Handmade ornaments are the best. And your cutie daughter. I'm glad she's doing well now. She's so sweet in the video, looking completely chill.
This week's tiny thing was actually kind of big. We had our first substantial snow here. It's so beautiful in the woods in the snow. And although most of the week was cloudy, it cleared up so I could catch the full moon.
Such a sweet memory to unbox each December. We had an unexpected Dec NICU stay 2 weeks after our daughterβs birth and brought her home a few days before Christmas to celebrate a very different Christmas than planned.
Not an ideal way to spend the holiday. But it does deepen oneβs experience of what I call - the sweet and the salt. Glad to hear you made it home for Christmas! π€
Love this story. I'm so glad she's thriving. ππΌ My tiny thing this week is the discovery of a fabulous little store that sells art prints from several artists. You can tell the owner wants to support as many as she can in her tiny shop. I bought 3 cards from a colored pencil artist named Eileen Sorg.
Thanks Jennifer! You know I thought a lot about this idea this holiday - a place to have an artist gift guide. I think people would love to buy from independent artists, this is why Etsy is so popular (but now it is so hard to sift through). I know so many incredible artists selling so much beautiful stuff but lack visibility.
That would be amazing. I was part of one a couple years ago that wasn't specific to art. It didn't go over too well but I think it could have been handled differently.

I image the full moon over a snow covered landscape - amazing. πI miss those snow covered landscapes.
Oh momma, what a beautiful memory and outcome.
and I love your creative mind! Christmas snails π on gift tags βΊοΈ My tiny moment -
I finally after many many years, bought an espresso maker (on sale) with a steam wand. I am not much of a coffee drinker - hubby is, but I can make my london fog tea with foamy oat milk and hot cocoa with a dash of decaf coffee and frothy non dairy cream on top. That steamer is sooo fun! π€©
Hereβs to another wondrous Christmas for you and your family πβ€οΈπ
That sounds delightful! It is true - making that thick foam is such a treat at home. Hope you have a warm and cozy holiday! π²π©·
This story broke my heart open. πβ¨π π
It did mine a little telling it. π«Ά

This is such a lovely story and reminder. Our tree is also made up of a hodge podge of memories and old stories. So many school-crafted ornaments!
I love taking out the ornaments and being taken through timeβ¦ π₯°
