I ate a slice of carrot and ginger vegan cake at Espaço Raízes (Space Roots), after my yoga class, here in Coimbra, Portugal. A tiny slice full of life!

Treating yourself to yoga and the delicious cake, this sounds delightful. I used to go to a yoga class where they served homemade yogie tea and graham crackers after. It was really something I looked forward to. 😊

I love this. I have a little shelf carefully curated with things from buy-nothing and it makes me so happy to look at it. It’s not at all practical but that’s not the point, ha.

I used to love Buy Nothing! Such a great idea. Ours grew so big, they shut it down. I miss it! I actually felt so much easier getting rid of stuff. I knew someone else wanted it. 😊

I’m a big lover of houseplants!! I have a Christmas cactus from my mother -in-law, who would have turned 106 this January, plus an African violet that I grew from a leaf given to me by my Tante Inger from her plant in Norway🇳🇴! It looks like you have the perfect window for plants in your “art corner,” Kim🤩🤩!

My “tiny something” for this week was cleaning out my front closet, which is home to all my bird feeding supplies. After I got it all cleaned out and organized, I added a small package of mealworms I’d found to my bird feeder. When I looked out my kitchen window a few hours later, there was a bluebird💙 at my feeder🎉🎊🎉🎊🤩🤩🤩!!

Isn’t it amazing how some plants you hold onto for such a long time. They become sentimental. 😊

I wish I had some bluebirds at my feeder! The grossbeaks won’t let any other birds on it. But I enjoy that they visit everyday.

I reconnected with some creative friends. It was lovely to see their faces and hear how they were doing. I love your new space, and seeing your 100 Day Project displayed! I, too, have those wee clothespins - delightful!

Creative meetups are the best! I started doing them in person over here. I so look forward to it each month. I'm making new friends in my own city. Delightful!

Nice, Kim!! In person visits really are the best!

This month’s tiny thing is to read a short story in the morning before the rest of my family wakes up. I’m reading interesting stories from Cherokee, Creek and other indigenous people which demands a little attention as the author writes a bit scholarly. This new habit has me motivated so I’ve also finished two library books and I’m excited to start the last library book I have borrowed!

I love your wall of hanging beauty. I’m inspired to hand plants on my wall because your plants beautifully frame your art! Lovely post!!💕

What a wonderful way to start the day! I used to read a little poetry with my coffee every morning and I loved it. I need to start doing it again.

Thank you! One can never have enough plants.

Your sketch cards look beautifully hanging up like that! What a fun project.

I love how little changes can make a big impact. My first project of the new year was rearranging my studio space so my computer was tucked in the back out of sight and my painting table was out in front. It makes such a big difference to how I feel entering the room.

It's so true! My space started to feel so cluttered. It was frustrating to find things. The energy of your workspace is so important. Putting the painting table first - good call!

It is so meditative. I am going to work on mine more this weekend as well. I have two more plant hangars and some little display shelves.

Thank you for sharing the other site. I am planning my day to today to organize, recreate my creative space and hopefully create! Lots of fun motivation here. Have a wonderful weekend!

It makes me so excited to create in my space again. My sacred space got so messy. 😊 Hope yours is taking shapeless too!
