This sounds like a wonderful project Kim and I look forward to any updates you share here. I won't be participating however - I'm boycotting Meta and that means I don't use Instagram (or Facebook), plus I have a project of my own underway. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Marquita! I will be sharing my 100 Day Project here with everyone. It feels like the perfect place to share the project with a community. I think more and more people are coming over to Substack from Instagram. Hope your project is going well!

I am joining in! I am thinking of combining two of the ideas you shared such as sketching a flower each day and then writing down a favorite quote or maybe a small poem. My phone is filled with flower pictures from my garden the last 8 years so I have plenty of source material if I go that direction.

Yay! My first 100 Day Project was a flower a day. I look through it and it always makes me smile. I love the addition of the quote. I think quotes can go put us in the best mindset. It would leave you with a book of delights!

My problem has always been settling on an idea. I think just to create something everyday, without restrictions of a certain theme, has been a way to be (at least partially) successful. Enjoy, Kim!

I find the more specific I am, the better. Then I don't have to make any decisions. If I leave the door open to be anything, the options are vast. I can also really dig deep on that one thing. I get to a new level of understanding for hitting it every day for 100 days. You should jot down ideas that spark your interest. See what pops out to you. Something you would love to be better at or just indulge.

It is a great way to have your own little book in inspiration!

I just joined because I found out ‘in the nick of time’ and figured this was a good sign/opportunity to use the box of 100 Pantone postcards that I received for Christmas. Looking forward to the journey!

LOVE! It's like when you go to the paint store and start taking all the paint chip samples just because. Or is that just me? Something just so delightful about color on cards. So glad you joined!

I’ve totally been guilty of taking all the paint chip samples too!

I want to do it but I feel like I haven’t thought of a good enough idea yet! I’m not an artsy person but want to tap into creativity. Of course I write, but something else. I’m going to give it a hard think today!

I would put out a piece of paper and just start writing everything you want to do more of or are curious about. You never know what will surface.

I think maybe 100 days of gratitude. Writing down every day something I’m grateful for. I know it’s slightly … done, but I’ve never done it consistently.

I think it is always a good practice to do daily. It makes us focus on those little things that make life better. As well, it becomes a habit to notice.
