The Field Guide to You: February 2026
The Rewilding 🐆
In nature, rewilding is the practice of allowing ecosystems to recover by removing interference. It means humans stepping back and allowing ecosystems to heal, regenerate, and find their own balance again. The smallest creatures return first, followed by birds, mammals, and plants that rely on one another to survive.
Humans have long interfered with nature. It makes me wonder how much we’ve interfered with our own. How often do we truly listen to ourselves? How far have we drifted from lives guided by instinct rather than expectation?
I love the sound of it - rewilding. Do you ever look back at earlier versions of yourself and wonder where parts of that person went along the way?
